Key Responsibilities

As a customer service representative at blithequark, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, ensuring a positive and memorable experience for every interaction

  • Handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Processing transactions, including ticket sales, baggage fees, and other travel-related services
  • Managing cash, checks, credit cards, travel vouchers, and coupons as forms of payment for tickets
  • Balancing daily transactions, handling overages or shortages, and maintaining accurate records
  • Inspecting baggage and freight, ensuring that all items are properly handled and accounted for
  • Answering phone calls, providing information to guests, paging customers, resolving issues, and offering assistance on a case-by-case basis
  • Managing exchanges to load the aircraft efficiently and effectively
  • Resolving customer complaints and issues related to oversells, delayed or cancelled flights, lost, delayed, or damaged baggage

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly, professional, and empathetic manner

  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or relevant experience preferred
