Experienced Customer Service Representative/Dispatcher – HVAC and Plumbing Industry

Job Role
As a Customer Service Representative/Dispatcher, you will be responsible for handling inbound phone calls for scheduling service and maintenance for our Residential Department. Your daily duties will include:
- Maintaining our customer database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
- Making daily outbound phone calls to customers and technicians to confirm appointments and provide updates
- Routing technicians based on location, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery
- Maintaining a positive team atmosphere with all members of the dispatch team
- Collaborating with other departments to resolve customer issues and improve overall service quality
Schedule
Our Customer Service Representatives/Dispatchers work a flexible schedule, with the following requirements:
- Wednesday: In-office work at our Chantilly location from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (with a one-hour lunch break)
- Monday-Friday: Remote work from home from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (with a one-hour lunch break) (not on Wednesday)
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Previous call center experience, with a minimum of one year of experience
- The ability to type at least 70 words per minute (wpm)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle high call volumes and work independently
- Familiarity with main cities and locations in Northern Virginia
- The ability to accurately document information into our customer database (Service Titan)

As a remote worker, you will need to provide:
- High-speed internet access
- A quiet workspace with minimal background noise

Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Experience in the HVAC and plumbing industry
- Familiarity with Service Titan or other CRM software
- Certification in customer service or a related field
