Job Summary

As a Patient Care Customer Service Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for patients, providing timely and accurate support with equipment delivery, order processing, and troubleshooting. Your exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently will make you an invaluable asset to our team.

Responsibilities

* Accurately transcribe patient profiles over the phone, including data entry and possible outbound calling

  • Obtain medically necessary documentation to ensure seamless order processing
  • Process patient orders through our online pharmacy system, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment
  • Resolve tracking issues and reschedule shipping orders for patients, providing a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Troubleshoot problems based on patient input, demonstrating a deep understanding of our products and services
  • Verify orders are complete and accurate, maintaining a high level of quality control
  • Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

* High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • Experience in the medical field and administrative record management
  • Strong customer service background, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional results
  • Valid driver's license in the state of residence, with a clean driving record (when applicable)
  • Background investigation and drug screen (when applicable)

Skills and Competencies

* Effectively communicate in English, both orally and in writing

  • Maintain a positive attitude, providing helpful and knowledgeable support to patients
  • Interpret a variety of communications, including verbal, non-verbal, written, listening, and visual cues
  • Maintain confidentiality and practice discretion when handling sensitive information
  • Medical terminology and basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
  • Self-motivation, organization, time management, and deductive problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication
