Job Summary

As a Remote Customer Service Agent for blithequark, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to passengers via phone, email, and chat. You will assist customers with booking flights, making changes to existing reservations, and resolving any issues or concerns they may have. You will also be responsible for providing information on blithequark's policies and procedures, as well as processing refunds and exchanges as needed.

Key Responsibilities

* Answering incoming calls and responding to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner

  • Assisting customers with booking flights and making changes to reservations, including providing information on flight schedules, fares, and travel requirements
  • Resolving customer issues and complaints in a timely and effective manner, using problem-solving skills and empathy to de-escalate conflicts
  • Providing information on blithequark's policies and procedures, including baggage fees, change fees, and refund policies
  • Processing refunds and exchanges as needed, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Maintaining accurate customer records and documentation, including updating customer information and resolving any discrepancies
  • Collaborating with other team members to ensure excellent customer service, sharing knowledge and best practices to improve overall performance

Requirements

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with previous customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Education and Experience

* High school diploma or equivalent, with previous customer service experience preferred
