As an IT Support Technician – Data Entry and Remote Access Specialist, you'll be an integral part of our Data Innovation Group, responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our employees and clients. Your primary focus will be on resolving technical issues, maintaining computer systems and peripherals, and ensuring seamless remote access for our virtual private network (VPN) users.

Key Responsibilities

* Resolve and close tickets/work orders supporting end-client workstations and peripherals

• Answer client care issues raised from the Helpdesk
• Contribute to desktop projects (global installs/renovations) as a project team member
• Remotely resolve and resolve demands using remote tools
• Investigate and collaborate with other departments to assist with system-related issues
• Record client interactions in incident management software, including resource management
• Recover data from hard drives or perform data migration
• Maintain remote access for virtual private network (VPN) availability as well as remote/broadband network for workstations
• Install and configure local and network-based printers
• Perform routine maintenance and support tasks
• Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required
• Follow management direction, complying with IT strategy and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

What You'll Need for Success

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience and training

• 2 years of hands-on IT work experience supporting and resolving various PC desktop software and hardware issues
• First-hand experience supporting workstations in a Windows/TCPIP environment
• Preferred Qualifications:

+ A+ certification + MCSE/MCP certification or higher + Past IT experience in an aircraft/airport environment

• Essential Skills and Competencies:

+ General knowledge of all Windows-based operating systems, including Windows 10 + Familiarity with workflow and tagging systems + Knowledge of VPN networks and ability to troubleshoot issues + Ability to work independently and act in a collaborative, team-based environment + Physical ability to lift at least 50 pounds
