Job Summary

As an Experienced Full Stack Data Architect – Web & Cloud Application Development at blithequark, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing data architectures for our web and cloud applications. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to develop and maintain our data infrastructure, ensuring that our data is accurate, secure, and easily accessible. Your expertise will help us drive business growth through data-driven insights, and your passion for innovation will inspire our teams to push the boundaries of what is possible.

Key Responsibilities

* Serve as the subject matter expert in data architecture for blithequark's business applications, including data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance.

• Design and implement data architectures for large-scale applications, including data integration, data quality, and data security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain data infrastructure, including data pipelines, data lakes, and data warehouses.
• Develop and maintain data models, including entity-relationship diagrams, data dictionaries, and data lineage.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and security through data validation, data cleansing, and data encryption.
• Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures, including data access controls, data retention policies, and data disposal procedures.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to develop and maintain data visualizations, reports, and dashboards.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, including cloud computing, big data, and artificial intelligence.
• Mentor and train junior data architects and data engineers on data architecture best practices and emerging technologies.

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• 2+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related field.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance.
• Experience with data integration, data quality, and data security.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong understanding of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js.

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related field.
• Experience with data science and machine learning technologies such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
