The Role

As a Technical Content Designer, you'll be responsible for crafting and editing content that's clear, concise, and engaging for our global customer base. You'll work closely with program managers, visual designers, and cross-functional partners to develop and maintain content for our Help Center and internal knowledge base. Your expertise in technical content will help our customers navigate complex issues, such as troubleshooting and device problems, with ease.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead large-scale editorial projects from start to finish, including setting content strategy, goals, timelines, and reporting

  • Create and edit Customer Service content, including Help Center articles, internal knowledge base content, customer service emails, and support materials
  • Ensure consistent content style, tone, and format meet the evolving expectations of a global audience
  • Collaborate closely with support operations, localization, legal, product design, and engineering teams to drive content excellence
  • Develop and maintain style guides and editorial training to ensure content consistency and quality
  • Leverage multiple data sources to provide data-driven analysis and content recommendations that drive business results

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in technical content writing, editing, or project management
  • Exceptional writing, editing, project management, and communications skills, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality content
  • Extensive technical or UI writing experience, with a focus on customer service or highly technical environments for consumer audiences
  • Experience writing for different platforms, including computer, mobile, and TV
  • Familiarity with information architecture and content management systems
  • Desired qualities: independent, self-starter, innovative thinker, curious, action-oriented, strong relationship builder, superior communication skills, including storytelling, highly adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

* Competitive annual salary, with a range of $50,000 - $190,000, based on your skills, experience, and job family
