Job Summary
We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Inbound Energy Customer Care Specialist to join our remote team. As a key member of our customer service department, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, resolving issues, and promoting our products and services. If you're a team player with excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
As an Inbound Energy Customer Care Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
- Answering customer calls professionally, responding to inquiries and complaints, and resolving issues in a timely and effective manner
- Focusing on customer retention and providing exceptional service to ensure customer satisfaction
- Providing customers with our service standards and ensuring that they understand our products and services
- Identifying, escalating, and reporting priority issues to high-level management
- Routing inbound calls to the appropriate resources and following up on complicated customer calls as needed
- Completing call notes and call reports, updating them in our CRM, and maintaining accurate records
- Obtaining and evaluating relevant data to properly handle and document complaints and inquiries
- Recording details of comments, inquiries, complaints, and actions taken
- Performing other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- Bilingual skills are a plus
- Some sales and customer service experience, preferably in the energy industry
- Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written communication with proper grammar
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Some experience with MS Excel is a plus
- The ability to react effectively and calmly in escalated situations
