Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver packages to customers in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that packages are delivered to the correct address and in good condition.
• Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise during delivery.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, ensuring that it is in good working condition and meets all safety and regulatory requirements.
• Load and unload packages from the vehicle, using a dolly or other equipment as needed.
• Use a smartphone or other device to navigate to delivery locations and track packages in real-time.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking numbers, delivery times, and any issues that may arise.
• Communicate with customers and other team members as needed to ensure smooth and efficient delivery operations.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• 21 years or older
• Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance
• A clean driving record
• A reliable vehicle, such as a car, minivan, or SUV, that is in good working condition
• A relatively newer vehicle (2005 or newer)
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
• Reliable access to the internet
• Some spare time throughout the day
• Live near an Amazon Locker or have access to other transportation where you can pick up packages

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a customer-facing role
• Knowledge of the Lafayette, LA area and its streets
• Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
