Job Summary

As the Manager, Retail Brand Commercialization, Sales, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive business growth and innovation in our retail partnerships. You will work closely with internal teams, licensees, and retailers to build strong relationships, identify opportunities, and develop plans to expand placement and create brand stories. This role requires a strong understanding of the retail landscape, consumer trends, and product sales analytics, as well as excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and execute departmental strategies to drive business growth and innovation in retail partnerships

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, internal teams, and licensees to identify opportunities and develop plans to expand placement and create brand stories
  • Perform weekly analysis of account business, assess opportunities and risks, and provide recommendations/gap analysis to drive future opportunities
  • Develop and execute Shop-in-shop (SIS) business strategies, including building product assortment and franchise strategies, analyzing sales rates, and presenting quarterly departmental strategies and hindsight business reviews to cross-functional teams
  • Collaborate with Retail Marketing & Retail Analytics to develop and execute marketing strategies and analyze sales data to inform business decisions
  • Troubleshoot POL issues/hurdles and work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues
  • Develop and maintain timing and action calendars to execute key milestones and hold cross-functional teams accountable to these milestones

Essential Qualifications and Skills

* 4+ years of experience in buying/merchandising/assortment planning in a mid to large-size company (or related experience)

  • Experience in building and maintaining multi-dimensional working relationships with retailers
  • High level of interest and experience with Disney Brand
  • Excellent follow-through skills and ability to multi-task
  • Experience working collaboratively across diverse teams; experience setting and maintaining financial targets
  • Experience analyzing consumer product sales
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Experience working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to flex from strategic to task-oriented skills
  • Skilled in Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, or Keynote
  • Strong organizational skills
  • People-oriented team player

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

* Experience working on Target business preferred

Education

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Compensation and Benefits

The hiring range for this remote position is $97,100 to $130,200 per year, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
