About the Role
As a Manager, Strategic Partnerships and Promotions, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and awareness for Walt Disney World by developing and leading strategic partnerships and integrations. You will partner with business leaders across Disney to build marketing activations that support key priorities and programs, including Sports Partnerships and Multicultural markets. Your expertise will be essential in creating needle-moving and business-driving programs that exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and lead innovative partnerships, integrations, and activations that drive business growth and awareness for Walt Disney World
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with key internal team members and partners, including Marketing Strategy, Media, Special and Broadcast Events, and Publicity
- Lead team members on and through key tactical events, such as Media Press Events, Content shoots, and Media Tours
- Act as an extension of the senior manager on the team, providing thought leadership and strategic guidance on promotional opportunities
- Assist in the execution of promotional campaigns with internal and external groups, managing achievements and timelines
- Work with the team's coordinator to produce campaign recap decks for external and internal business unit partners, and conduct post-campaign analysis
- Oversee communications with various Disney business units and third-party partners, focusing on relationship management and collaboration
- Manage and mentor Associate-level and Manager-level team members
- Assist the Director and VP on ad hoc presentations, one-sheets, and communications
- Monitor the landscape on an ongoing basis to identify trends and behaviors, inspiring new and innovative opportunities
Essential Qualifications & Skills
* 5+ years of experience in marketing, promotions, and/or advertising agency industry
- Experience in client/account management, project management
- Ability to influence and lead others in day-to-day assignments and complex projects
- Adapt to rapidly shifting priorities in fast-paced environment
- Strong sense of ownership and urgency
- Excellent written/verbal, presentation, time management, and quantitative/analytical skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Top-notch collaboration skills and ability to effectively partner with business units across lines of business within Disney, and team members across Yellow Shoes
- Proficient in the full suite of Office/Mac software, including Outlook, Keynote, Word, and Excel
Preferred Qualifications
* Promotions experience a plus
- Hospitality experience a plus
- Multicultural marketing experience a plus
Education
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
