Job Responsibilities
As a Part-Time Instructor / Teaching at Mathnasium, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Teaching and tutoring students in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method?, terminology, and teaching practices
- Working collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
- Assessing students' learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and communicating with parents and guardians as needed
- Participating in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and expertise
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- A passion for math and working with students
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Eagerness to learn and be trained, with a willingness to adapt to new situations and challenges
- Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I
- The ability to balance various ongoing tasks and prioritize your work effectively
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with a bachelor's degree in mathematics or a related field preferred
