Key Responsibilities

As a Math Instructor / Tutor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Teaching and tutoring students in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices
• Collaborating with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
• Assessing students' learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
• Becoming proficient with digital educational materials and processes
• Supporting the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A passion for math and working with students
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
• Eagerness to learn and be trained in our unique approach to math education
• Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I
• Ability to balance various ongoing tasks and prioritize multiple responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:

• Experience working with students of diverse ages and skill levels
• Familiarity with digital educational materials and processes
• Certification in math education or a related field
