About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our Fredericksburg, VA office. As a key member of our team, you'll be the first point of contact for our customers, providing personalized service that demonstrates the value of being insured by GEICO. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering billing questions, making policy changes, and offering recommendations to policyholders
  • Work in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment, handling multiple calls and tasks simultaneously
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, fostering trust and growing customer satisfaction
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends to provide accurate and informed responses to customer inquiries
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer experience
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 1-2 years of customer service experience in a call center or retail environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse customer groups
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically in fast-paced environments
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in software applications, such as CRM systems and Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the insurance industry or a related field
  • Knowledge of insurance products and services, including auto, home, and life insurance
  • Previous experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and data analysis tools
  • Certifications or training in areas such as customer service, sales, or leadership

Compensation and Benefits
