Responsibilities

As an Experienced Full Stack AR Collections Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Managing the accounts receivable process for assigned clients, ensuring timely and accurate collection of outstanding invoices
• Conducting collections activities, including contacting customers via phone, email, and mail to follow up on overdue payments and resolve payment discrepancies
• Reviewing and analyzing customer accounts to identify delinquent accounts and prioritize collection efforts
• Processing cash receipts and applying payments to customer accounts accurately and efficiently
• Investigating and resolving billing issues, disputes, and discrepancies with customers and internal stakeholders
• Maintaining accurate records of collection activities and customer interactions in the company's database or accounting system
• Preparing and distributing regular reports on accounts receivable aging, collections status, and cash flow projections
• Collaborating with sales, customer service, and finance teams to resolve customer inquiries and address any issues impacting collections
• Developing and maintaining positive relationships with customers to facilitate prompt payment and minimize collection efforts
• Staying updated on industry best practices and regulations related to accounts receivable and collections processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

• Proven experience working in accounts receivable, collections, or a related financial role, preferably in a manufacturing or B2B environment (2+ years' experience)
• Strong knowledge of accounts receivable principles, collection techniques, and cash application processes
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and internal stakeholders
• Demonstrated proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, for data entry, analysis, and reporting
