Job Description

As a Customer Service Representative at Aetna Call Center Jobs in Charlotte, NC (Work From Home), you will be the face of Aetna and play a critical role in shaping individuals' experience by handling customer care requests and issues through phone, web, or written correspondence. You will engage, counsel, and educate individuals based on their unique needs, preferences, and understanding of Aetna plans, tools, and resources to guide them along a path to wellness.

Key Responsibilities

* Respond to questions and resolve issues based on calls/letters from individuals, suppliers, and other divisions

  • Escalate emergencies to suitable staff
  • Report and track contacts with individuals, suppliers, and plan sponsors
  • Guide individuals through their plan of benefits, Aetna strategy, and methodology, as well as knowing about resources to comply with any regulatory rules
  • Build a trusting and caring relationship with individuals by getting to know and engaging them to advocate for their best health
  • Take responsibility to grasp individuals' requirements by building a trusting and caring relationship with them completely
  • Explain client needs and provide related information to address unasked questions, such as extra plan details, benefit plan details, individual self-service tools, etc.
  • Explain individuals' freedoms as well as expectations as per contract

Required Capabilities

* 1 year of recent customer service experience in a transaction-based call center environment

  • Resident of the State of Florida
  • Demonstrated ability to be empathetic and humane
  • Experience in a production environment
