As a member of our sales team, you'll have the opportunity to work with a small, agile team that's passionate about media, technology, and internet business models.

The Role

As an Advertising Sales Executive at SimpleFeed, you'll be responsible for driving revenue growth through the sale of ad inventory to leading brands and agencies. You'll work closely with our internal teams to ensure effective delivery and execution of campaigns, and will be expected to develop and execute sales strategies and proposals to meet revenue targets. Your strong relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations will be essential in identifying, pursuing, and closing sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

* Achieve revenue goals through the sale of ad inventory to leading brands and agencies

  • Identify, pursue, and close sales opportunities with key decision-makers at client organizations
  • Develop and execute sales strategies and proposals to meet revenue targets
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure effective delivery and execution of campaigns
  • Post-deployment, proactively engage with customers to review results and identify opportunities for growth
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies and tactics
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and adapt sales strategies accordingly

Requirements:

* 5+ years of experience in digital advertising sales, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets

  • Established relationships with leading brands and agencies in the industry
  • Undergraduate degree
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of Google Ad Manager and syndication is helpful
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously

Essential Skills and Competencies:

* Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts in a clear and concise manner
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Basic understanding of digital advertising platforms and technologies, including Google Ad Manager and syndication
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working with publishers and brands in the digital media industry

  • Knowledge of digital advertising platforms and technologies, including Google Ad Manager and syndication
  • Experience with sales strategies and tactics, including account planning and management
  • Strong understanding of industry trends and developments, with the ability to adapt sales strategies accordingly
  • Ability to work in a remote environment, with a slight preference for the Eastern Time Zone
