Responsibilities

As an Entry-Level Data Entry Clerk at blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Data Entry and Management: Inputting data from paper documents into digital spreadsheets, updating order statuses for customers, and double-checking your work to ensure accuracy.
  • Data Verification and Correction: Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities if possible, and checking the output to ensure data integrity.
  • Research and Data Retrieval: Researching and obtaining further information for incomplete documents, applying data program techniques and procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Report Generation and Storage: Generating reports, storing completed work in designated locations, and performing backup operations to maintain data security.
  • Document Scanning and Printing: Scanning documents and printing files, when needed, to ensure seamless data entry and management.
  • Customer Service: Providing exceptional customer service by updating order statuses and responding to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong Computer Skills: Excellent computer skills, including touch typing and database management tools.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to think analytically and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to enter data quickly and accurately.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with customers and team members.
  • Experience: Previous experience working in a data entry or customer service role is a plus, but not required.

Compensation
