Job Description
We are seeking experienced Reading, Math, Science, or English Teachers to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Huntington Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work directly with students in a 1-to-1 setting or in small groups of up to four students. Our instructional programs are designed to be flexible and adaptable to meet the unique needs of each student, and we offer a range of benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-on-one instruction to students in a 1-to-1 setting or in small groups of up to four students
- Develop and implement individualized student programs, tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of each student
- Work with students to identify areas of strength and weakness, and develop strategies to improve academic performance
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress and provide recommendations for continued support
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay up-to-date on best practices in education and instructional design
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to share best practices and support student success
Essential Qualifications:
* 4-year degree required
- Florida Teaching Certification is a plus but not required
- All experience levels are welcome to apply, including recent graduates, current teachers, and retired professionals
- Must be a caring and qualified professional committed to the success of students
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working with students in a 1-to-1 setting or in small groups
- Familiarity with Huntington's instructional programs and methods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability in scheduling and instructional design
