The Role

As a Customer Service Advisor at blithequark, you will be part of a dynamic team that handles all contact into both councils via multiple channels. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing an excellent service experience that meets their needs and exceeds their expectations. You will work in a fast-paced environment, delivering a first-class service first time, every time.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and other channels

  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve service delivery targets and improve customer satisfaction
  • Use Microsoft Office packages to manage customer interactions and data
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of blithequark's services and policies to provide accurate information to customers
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Work flexibly to attend both organizations in person, as and when required

Essential Qualifications and Experience

* Strong knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Office packages

  • Experience of working within a team in a customer-focused environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and attend both organizations in person, as and when required
  • Positive and enthusiastic approach to delivering high service standards

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

* Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a local government or public sector organization

  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Experience of working in a hybrid working environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

* Competitive salary range: £27,334 - £29,269 per annum pro rata (dependent on skills and qualifications)
