Responsibilities
As an Experienced Data Analyst on our Transportation Analytics team, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects that will challenge your skills and help you grow professionally. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
* Working with large, messy, disparate datasets and performing ad-hoc analyses to inform business decisions
* Developing data visualizations to communicate complex insights to stakeholders
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business problems and develop solutions
* Leveraging scripting languages (Python preferred) to automate reporting tasks and improve efficiency
* Documenting your work and sharing your expertise with colleagues to build a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need to have:
* Excellent SQL skills, with the ability to work with multiple tables and maintain data integrity
* Creativity and a user experience focus to develop impactful Tableau dashboards
* Business operations fluency, with the ability to identify and root cause business problems
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
* A supply chain background, ideally with transportation experience
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, we're looking for candidates with:
* Advanced experience with SQL and Tableau
* Experience with e-commerce operations or parcel service operations
* Experience with Python or other scripting languages
* Experience with data manipulation tools, including Knime, Alteryx, R, Tableau Prep, etc.
