What You Will Be Doing

As a Live Chat Operator at blithequark, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients' customers via live chat, email, and electronic message boards. Your primary duties will include:

  • Responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Providing product information and recommendations to customers
  • Troubleshooting common issues and escalating complex problems to supervisors or subject matter experts
  • Maintaining a high level of product knowledge and staying up-to-date with new products and services
  • Collaborating with chat supervisors and other team members to ensure seamless customer support
  • Meeting or exceeding performance metrics and quality standards

Key Responsibilities:

* Respond to customer inquiries via live chat, email, and electronic message boards

  • Provide product information and recommendations to customers
  • Troubleshoot common issues and escalate complex problems to supervisors or subject matter experts
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay up-to-date with new products and services
  • Collaborate with chat supervisors and other team members to ensure seamless customer support
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics and quality standards

Essential Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., business, communications) preferred

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with online chat platforms
  • Reliable internet connectivity and a device capable of accessing social media and website chat functions (phone, tablet, or laptop)
  • Ability to work a minimum of 5 hours per week; flexibility to work up to 40 hours per week

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous experience in customer service or a related field

  • Familiarity with blithequark's products and services
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
