Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be the face of blithequark, communicating with customers via telephone and assisting with hotel, rental car, and flight reservations. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Answering incoming calls from customers and responding to their inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Reviewing customer history as necessary to provide personalized support
  • Following policy and procedure guidelines to ensure consistency and accuracy
  • Helping customers change travel plans, confirm or obtain their itinerary, request refunds, or report travel issues
  • Providing or confirming customers' travel itinerary and making necessary adjustments
  • Processing refunds and resolving customer complaints in a fair and efficient manner
  • Placing outbound calls to travel partners (hotels, rental car agencies, etc.) as necessary to resolve customer issues
  • Documenting information and outcomes as necessary to maintain accurate records

About You

To succeed as a Customer Service Representative, you'll need to possess a unique blend of skills, experience, and personal qualities. Here are some of the key characteristics we're looking for:

  • Prior customer service experience is required, with a strong track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Strong geographical knowledge and experience working in the travel industry or personal experience using travel products is preferred

  • Highly proficient in using the internet and navigating between multiple applications

Technical Requirements

To perform your duties as a Customer Service Representative, you'll need to meet the following technical requirements:
