Your duties and responsibilities

As a Customer Service Professional at blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing accurate information: You'll be responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date information about our products, services, and policies to customers.
  • Handling customer inquiries: You'll receive in-bound calls from customers who want to open a claim, and you'll work with them to resolve their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution: You'll use your expertise to proactively make recommendations that will help customers avoid future issues, and you'll work with customers to resolve problems and conflicts in a fair and respectful manner.
  • Working in a single client/functional environment or multi-client/multi-functional environment: You may work in a single client/functional environment or a multi-client/multi-functional environment, depending on the needs of the business.

Requirements for the position

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Minimum of 1 year customer service experience: You'll need to have a minimum of 1 year of customer service experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional service.
  • Minimum high school diploma or GED: You'll need to have a minimum high school diploma or GED, with a strong foundation in communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work Monday-Friday 12pm-9pm EST: You'll need to be available to work Monday-Friday 12pm-9pm EST, with flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to commit to having a home office environment that is free of distractions or responsibilities outside of the role: You'll need to be able to commit to having a home office environment that is free of distractions or responsibilities outside of the role, during working hours assigned.

Working conditions and physical requirements

As a Customer Service Professional at blithequark, you'll be working in a virtual environment, with the following working conditions and physical requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer: You'll need to be able to sit for prolonged periods and work on a computer, with regular breaks to stretch and move around.
  • Hours of operation: The hours of operation are 7 days a week, Monday through Sunday between 8am-12am EST, 365 days per year, including holidays.
  • Shifts: Shifts are usually 5 consecutive days on with 2 consecutive days off for 8-hour shifts, but can change to meet business needs.

Training and onboarding

When you start, you'll undergo a comprehensive training program that includes:

  • Virtual "classroom" training: You'll participate in virtual "classroom" training, which will cover the basics of customer service, our products and services, and our policies and procedures.
  • "On-the-job" training: You'll receive "on-the-job" training, which will give you hands-on experience working with customers and resolving their queries and concerns.
  • Regular feedback and coaching: You'll receive regular feedback and coaching from your supervisor and colleagues, to help you develop your skills and improve your performance.
