What You'll Do

As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be the face of our company, interacting directly with customers who reach out to us for a variety of reasons, from finding their new pet to resolving issues with their orders. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Examining and resolving customer issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Thinking proactively to provide solutions to customers' problems and set up follow-up meetings as needed
  • Working with empathy, attention to detail, persistence, sympathy, and thoughtfulness to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Collaborating with colleagues and partners across various levels of the organization using virtual collaboration tools like Zoom, Slack, and webcams to foster a customer-driven culture of cooperation
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to improve your skills and knowledge

What You'll Need

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 2 years of customer service experience, with a proven track record of providing excellent service and resolving customer complaints
  • Exceptional communication skills (written, verbal, and listening) as demonstrated in a written evaluation
  • Ability to multitask (e.g., handle a phone call while searching on the computer and taking notes) and perform well in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in using computers, both for data entry and navigation through systems and the web to find information to support customers
  • Ability to adapt to change with the business needs of the organization
  • Flexibility to adjust your schedule and work beyond 40 hours as needed by the team
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive customer information
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Technical Requirements

To ensure a seamless customer experience, you'll need:

  • A dedicated workspace that is large enough to accommodate computer screens and free from distractions, including background noise
  • A webcam-compatible workspace
  • A reliable, high-speed internet connection (30 Mbps+ download speed/10 Mbps+ upload speed) – you can test your internet speed at speedtest.net or by contacting your internet service provider
  • A wireless or tablet device for two-factor authentication through Okta Confirm

Don't worry about the technical requirements – we'll provide the necessary equipment (computer, screen, keyboard, mouse, headset, webcam). You just need to bring your passion for customer service and a love for helping others.
