Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Production Operator to join our night shift team on Filling Line 4. As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to equipment set up, clean-ups, packaging filling and labeling, maintenance, and other operational duties. You will utilize Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) to ensure that our production area is clean and safe, and that our products are produced to the highest standards of quality. Key Responsibilities

• Perform production activities for equipment set up, clean-ups, packaging filling and labeling, maintenance, and other operational duties
• Utilize Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) to ensure that the production area is clean and safe
• Visually inspect all incoming materials and report non-conformances, and visually inspect finished goods, making minor corrections and reporting all non-conformances
• Perform all essential job functions affecting quality according to the quality system procedures and work instructions
• Run multiple machines, including fillers, cappers, robots, and casing equipment, and perform line inspections and quality checks
• Properly and consistently run all packaging equipment, and occasionally provide relief for other operators as assigned
• Adhere to all Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements and monitor computer terminals and OIT screens

Essential Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent is required
• Prior experience as a Production Operator is required
• Good math and communication skills are essential
• Ability to read, write, and speak English is required
• Must be experienced in or able to learn operator control panels
• Prior knowledge or ability to run automated casing equipment is needed
• Must possess a mechanical aptitude to be able to sequence equipment for proper start-up and shutdown, understanding machinery and conveyor controls

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a similar role
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and quality control procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify and resolve issues quickly
• Experience with forklift operation and possession of a valid forklift license

• Mathematics: ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and understand production metrics
• Forklift License: possession of a valid forklift license and ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently
• Communication: excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Mechanical Aptitude: ability to understand and operate complex machinery and equipment
• Computer Literacy: ability to use computer systems and software to perform tasks and monitor production
• Writing: ability to accurately complete documentation and reports
• English Language: ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
• Machine Operations: ability to operate multiple machines and equipment, including fillers, cappers, robots, and casing equipment
• Troubleshooting: ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently
