Job Summary
As a Full Stack Data Science Manager at blithequark, you'll be responsible for leading a team of data scientists and analysts to drive business growth through data-driven insights. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions that improve our members' shopping experience. Your expertise in data science, machine learning, and cloud computing will be essential in helping us stay ahead of the competition.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead a team of data scientists and analysts to develop and implement data-driven solutions that improve our members' shopping experience
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop data-driven strategies to drive growth
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, data warehouses, and data visualization tools to support business decision-making
- Design and implement machine learning models to improve our members' shopping experience and drive business growth
- Work closely with our IT team to develop and implement cloud-based solutions that support our data science initiatives
- Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality and security
- Mentor and develop the skills of our data science team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles
Essential Qualifications
* 3+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, and cloud computing
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- Proven experience in leading a team of data scientists and analysts to develop and implement data-driven solutions
- Strong expertise in data science, machine learning, and cloud computing, including experience with tools such as SQL, PySpark, Python, and AI/Deep Learning
- Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI and Tableau
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience with cloud-based platforms such as Databricks and AWS
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in retail, personalization, marketing, e-commerce, and supply chain management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop insights that drive business growth
- Experience with data governance policies and procedures, including data quality and security
- Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms and models, including experience with tools such as TensorFlow and PyTorch
- Experience with cloud-based platforms such as Azure and Google Cloud
