We are seeking an experienced and dedicated 21st Century Grant On-Site Coordinator to join our team at the Cleveland Heights-University Heights City School District. As a key member of our Noble Explorers program, you will play a vital role in implementing a federally funded grant program aimed at providing after-school education and enrichment opportunities to students.

The 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) program is a federally funded initiative designed to provide after-school and summer learning opportunities to students in high-need areas. Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced 21st Century Grant On-Site Coordinator to oversee the implementation of our Noble Explorers program at Noble Elementary School. As the Site Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the after-school program, recruiting students, and ensuring compliance with federal guidelines. You will work closely with teachers, parents, administrators, and students to provide academic support, supervision, and advocacy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program Coordination: Coordinate the after-school program, including scheduling, staffing, and logistics.
  • Student Recruitment: Recruit students for the program and ensure participation in program activities.
  • Communication: Communicate with teachers, parents, administrators, and students to ensure program effectiveness and address concerns.
  • Academic Support: Assist students with homework, provide academic support, and facilitate enrichment activities.
  • Supervision: Supervise students during program activities and ensure a safe and supportive environment.
  • Grant Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal guidelines and regulations, including reporting and record-keeping.
  • Community Engagement: Engage with the community to promote the program and build partnerships.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in education, social work, or a related field.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in computer programs, such as Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, and school-based management programs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous Experience: Previous experience working in education, after-school programs, or a related field.
  • School-Building Experience: Experience working in a school building, preferably in an after-school program.
  • Tutoring Experience: Experience working with students in tutoring or after-school programs.
  • Camp Counseling Experience: Experience working as a camp counselor or in a similar role.
