About the Role
As an Experienced Full Stack Physician Assistant at blithequark, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our clinical team to deliver exceptional outcomes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing comprehensive, evidence-based care to patients, including precise evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and management of medical conditions
- Performing routine medical procedures, such as vaccinations and injections, and providing patient education and guidance
- Managing patient flow and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, including documentation of medical history, diagnoses, treatments, and test results
- Collaborating with our clinical team to develop and implement treatment plans, and to provide ongoing patient care and support
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A graduate degree-level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current Public Board Accreditation and Territory of Business permit to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role
- Or, in select states, an Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (or other healthcare-related graduate degree or equivalent experience along with Four-year education in science in Physician Assistant Studies) with current Public Board Accreditation and Province of Work permit to practice in the job
- At least two years of clinically relevant experience or the same
- Completion of the SPARK affirmation test within 30 days of employment
- Ability to speak and write in multiple languages, including but not limited to Spanish (dependent on market)
- Essential Life Support (BLS) accreditation, including but not limited to performing mouth-to-mouth and operating a Mechanical External Defibrillator (AED)
- Ability to pass a FIT assessment and wear the provided respirator mask when required
Preferred Qualifications
If you have less than one year of work experience as a licensed provider, previous student precepting experience with blithequark is preferred, but not required.
