Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Customer Service Agent - Call Center Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Answering inbound and outbound customer calls, emails, and chats in a timely and professional manner
  • Responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues efficiently, using established methods and procedures
  • Recording call details and updating customer account history records
  • Processing customer requests, including sending faxes, returning telephone messages, and sending mail documents
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues and provide seamless support
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports, as required
  • Participating in ongoing training and development programs to enhance customer service skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
  • Zero to two years of customer service or related experience
  • Experience working with organizational functions and personnel
  • Familiarity with fax machines, computer software, and telephone technology
  • Basic business and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow oral and written directions
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Ability to work from home with a reliable internet connection
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday shifts between 6:00 am and 9:00 pm CT

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience working with help desk software
  • Familiarity with cloud-based customer relationship management (CRM) systems
  • Basic knowledge of sales and marketing principles
  • Experience working in a call center or customer-facing environment
  • Fluency in Spanish or other languages
