Job Summary

We're seeking a highly technical Mobile Software Development Test Engineer with exceptional problem-solving and communication skills. As a member of our team, you'll be responsible for qualifying the wireless capabilities and software for our new iPhones, iPads, and Apple Watch product lines. You'll work on a wide range of testing activities, from documented and ad-hoc testing to ensuring the highest quality releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive testing plans to ensure wireless connectivity solutions meet Apple's high standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex technical issues
• Conduct in-depth analysis of MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) issues, including performance, CA, 5G, VoLTE, SRVCC, CSFB, crashes, resets, and panics
• Develop and maintain test automation tools, test fits, and execution setups
• Work closely with modem bring-up teams from early development to deployment phases
• Lead and participate in global teams to drive testing efficiency and effectiveness
• Communicate technical findings and recommendations to stakeholders

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
• Hands-on experience with testing cellular technologies (5G, LTE, UMTS, CDMA, IMS, etc.)
• Strong understanding of how to write testable code
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Outstanding written and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently with remote teammates

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MTBF/stability testing, automation tools, test fits, and execution setups
• Exposure to modem bring-up from early development to deployment phases
• Leadership experience in international teams
• Familiarity with Apple's products and services
