We're looking for an experienced Energy Data Engineer to join our team, responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines that integrate data from various systems into a structured format. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, data processing, and analysis. As a remote team member, you'll work closely with our Energy Resource Supervisory crew to drive business decisions and insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines that transform data into a structured format for analysis, using tools like Apache Airflow.
• Develop and implement tools and systems to help clients summarize and investigate data, including data quality checks and automated reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and drive business insights.
• Provide ongoing support for deployed pipelines, ensuring data quality and system performance.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering, and apply that knowledge to improve our data pipelines and systems.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python programming languages.
• Proven experience building data pipelines using Apache Airflow or similar tools.
