Job Overview

As a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst Intern at Southwest Airlines, you will play a crucial role in driving a culture of safety, efficiency, and innovation within the Quality Control department. Key Responsibilities

• Perform timely data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data elements to support the Quality Control team.
• Assist in developing and communicating complex data insights and analysis to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Respond to ad-hoc queries and provide analytical support to Senior Leadership, enabling informed business decisions.
• Present findings, trends, and recommendations using data visualization tools to facilitate understanding and drive business outcomes.
• Develop and disseminate queries to extract and organize data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and relevance.
• Identify process anomalies through audits and surveys, and communicate findings to the team.
• Evaluate process effectiveness by monitoring trends and anomalies, and ensure a compliance mindset is at the forefront of every decision.
• Perform other work-related tasks as directed by the Team Lead.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as data science, statistics, or business administration.
