Job Responsibilities

As a Customer Support Representative, you will be responsible for providing courteous and professional assistance to customers via phone, email, and chat channels. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service and resolving customer issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Addressing customer inquiries regarding prescriptions, insurance coverage, product information, and general healthcare-related questions
  • Processing orders, refill requests, and medication transfers accurately and efficiently
  • Collaborating with pharmacy teams and other departments to resolve customer issues and ensure timely resolution
  • Educating customers on available services, programs, and resources to meet their healthcare needs
  • Adhering to company policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality and privacy standards
  • Utilizing customer relationship management (CRM) software to document interactions and track customer feedback
  • Meeting or exceeding performance metrics, including call quality, customer satisfaction, and productivity targets

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
  • Previous customer service experience in a call center or healthcare setting preferred
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to actively listen and empathize with customers
  • Proficiency in navigating computer systems and utilizing software applications
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and resolving customer issues with professionalism and efficiency
  • Familiarity with pharmacy terminology, prescription medications, and insurance coverage is a plus
