Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, supporting pharmacy operations, and contributing to the success of our company. You will work closely with our pharmacy team to ensure that customers receive personalized service, accurate information, and timely support. Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Experience: Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Sales and Checkout: Register sales on assigned cash register, provide customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
  • Pharmacy Operations: Assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy. Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management activities, such as ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipments of pharmaceuticals.
  • Store Maintenance: Ensure the store is clean, neat, and orderly. Perform exterior and interior maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Training and Development: Earn and maintain PTCB certification through the designated PTCB training program and/or state required certification/registration. Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager or assigned by corporate.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certification: PTCB certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Experience: Previous experience in customer service, pharmacy operations, or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience: Previous experience working in a pharmacy or healthcare setting.
  • Certification: Additional certifications, such as pharmacy technician certification.
  • Skills: Proficiency in pharmacy systems and software. Experience with inventory management and store maintenance.
