Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Part Time Remote Customer Service Representative – Data Entry Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our retail pharmacy operations, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing patient enrollment, and handling high-volume client requests. Key Responsibilities

• Utilize Walgreens' remedy information entry methods and rules to process new patient enrollment by entering information into the appropriate system.
• Handle patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing.
• Investigate to obtain missing prescription data, and decipher clinical abbreviations (SIG codes).
• Settle all data entry-related exceptions.
• Handle correspondence to patients (inbound calls, chats, messages) and make outbound calls to prescribers and patients on a case-by-case basis.
• Settle Outsider Exceptions by researching, gathering data, making amendments, and resubmitting for processing according to individual arrangement requirements.
• Make phone calls to support plans and others to acquire data, gain abrogate endorsement, or otherwise settle the Outsider Exceptions.
• Provide support to Pharmacists, both those in the office and those at different locations.
• Recognize and convey issues to senior-level staff as fitting.

Essential Capabilities

• Essential level computer skills (e.g., start and shut down computer, use mouse to point and click, start and close programs, switch between programs, save files, print documents, and access data online).
• Basic web search skills to include opening a browser, typing in URLs in the correct field, using a search engine, bookmarking a website, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and completing forms online.
• Transitional level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, organizing reports).
• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.

Preferred Capabilities

• No less than one year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or call center environment.
• Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services, and assessment of customer satisfaction.
• Transitional to advanced level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, organizing documents).
• Familiarity with Spanish and English.
