As a fully-remote agency, we're growing our Service Department and seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. The Role

As our ideal candidate, you'll be responsible for maintaining the highest level of retention and customer satisfaction for our book of business. You'll be the face of our agency, providing exceptional customer service to our clients via phone, email, and SMS. Your expertise in servicing auto, home, and other personal lines policies from major carriers will be invaluable in driving a complete, efficient, and professional resolution for each client inquiry.

Responsibilities

* Intake and triage existing client inquiries via phone, email, and SMS, ensuring timely and effective responses

  • Drive a complete, efficient, and professional resolution for each client inquiry, utilizing our internal and external platforms, including our CRM and multiple carrier portal systems (Progressive, Allstate, Travelers, Safeco, etc.)
  • Identify and convert cross-sell opportunities, providing clients with tailored solutions to meet their needs
  • Identify and follow-up on key retention opportunities, ensuring long-term client satisfaction and loyalty
  • Assist in the development of processes and playbooks for the CSR team, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration
  • Work with our internal product and operations teams to better our proprietary systems and processes for a best-in-class onboarding and customer experience
  • Track and optimize on key service metrics, such as first response time, resolution time, CSAT, retention, and escalations

Qualifications

* An active P&C insurance license

  • Multiple years of experience servicing personal lines auto and home policies
  • Multiple years of experience handling customer service calls or experience in a call center
  • Experience cross-selling policies and identifying retention opportunities
  • Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions and creating long-lasting relationships
  • Technology-forward: tech company experience preferred
  • Call center or remote experience a bonus
  • Bonus for Bilingual: communicate fluently with our Spanish-speaking customers
