Key Responsibilities: Driving Customer Success and Onboarding

As our Customer Onboarding and Support Consultant, you'll be responsible for:

  • End-to-end customer onboarding and support: Deliver exceptional customer experiences from onboarding to ongoing support.
  • Troubleshooting and issue resolution: Solve technical issues and provide recommendations on best practices.
  • Knowledge Base creation and maintenance: Develop and update knowledge base articles in text, graphic, and video formats.
  • Customer engagement and navigation: Work with customers to set up and administer their accounts for a positive initial outcome.
  • Collaboration with internal teams: Report to our COO and work closely with our CTO to influence the product roadmap.

Essential Qualifications: What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Relevant 3rd-level degree or equivalent qualification.
  • 2-3 years of experience: Customer onboarding and support experience in a SaaS company, preferably in the event or accounting industries.
  • Independent work style: Ability to work independently, manage time, and prioritize activities under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills: Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly.
  • Customer success expertise: Knowledge of customer success concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Technical skills: Familiarity with development technologies (HTML, JavaScript, APIs, etc.) and accounting practices.

Desired Skills and Experience: The Ideal Candidate

While not essential, the following skills and experience are highly desirable:

  • Cloud application experience: Hands-on experience with cloud applications, such as CRMs and related technologies.
  • Customer support software: Familiarity with customer support software and management practices (BriteBiz uses Intercom).
  • Accounting platform experience: Previous experience working with accounting platforms, such as QuickBooks or Xero.
  • Consultative approach: A customer-focused and consultative approach to engagement.
  • Prioritization and multitasking: Ability to prioritize, multitask, and perform effectively under pressure.
