Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Cloud Data Engineer to join our team remotely. As a Cloud Data Engineer, you'll play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining our data infrastructure, ensuring that our data pipeline is scalable, efficient, and secure. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including data science, product, and engineering, to develop and implement data-driven solutions that drive business growth and improvement. Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain large-scale data infrastructure on cloud platforms, including AWS and SQL technologies
• Develop and implement data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources, ensuring data quality and integrity
• Build analytical tools and provide actionable insights to key business performance metrics, including operational efficiency and customer acquisition
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including data science, product, and engineering teams, to support data-related technical issues and infrastructure needs
• Lead and participate in cross-functional projects, providing technical expertise and guidance on data-related initiatives
• Develop and implement process improvements, including re-designing infrastructure for scalability, optimizing data delivery, and automating manual processes
• Work with outside vendors to provide effective solutions and insights, ensuring data integrity and security

Essential Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field; or equivalent formal training.

Experience

Advanced stage experience, professional and specialized knowledge in:

• Cloud infrastructure, DataLake
• ETL experience ensuring source to target data integrity
• Various filetypes (Delimited Text, Fixed Width, XML, JSON, Parque)
• ServiceBus, setting up ingress and egress within a subscription, or applicable AWS Cloud services administrative experience
• Unit Testing, Code Quality tools, CI/CD Technologies, Security and Container Technologies
• Agile development experience and Agile ceremonies and practices

Skills and Competencies

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms, including AWS and SQL technologies
• Proficiency in data engineering tools, including ETL, data pipelines, and data warehousing
• Experience with data analytics tools, including data visualization and reporting
• Strong understanding of data security and integrity principles
