About the Role

As a Merchandiser, you'll be responsible for servicing and maintaining multiple Convenience Retail, Drug, and Value accounts by merchandising approved products and packages using safe handling techniques and following all quality guidelines. You'll work independently with minimal daily supervision, utilizing your critical thinking skills to satisfy the needs of various customers with differing demands and expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Fills, merchandises, and rotates products in cold vaults and on shelves according to procedures and special programs, ensuring a visually appealing presentation.
• Physically moves products from the sales floor to cold vaults and displays, creating and distributing point-of-sale materials where permitted.
• Maintains backroom coolers by stacking and arranging products, handling returns, and disposing of waste.
• Fosters business relationships with store personnel through proactive follow-up on requests, pricing discussions, and exploring new opportunities.
• Works effectively in a fast-paced environment, lifting up to 50 pounds repetitively, and adhering to quality guidelines.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed as a Merchandiser, you'll need:

• A high school diploma or GED.
• Effective communication skills, including listening, speaking, and writing.
• The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Critical thinking skills to adapt to varying customer demands.
• A willingness to work in a physically demanding environment.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following qualifications can enhance your application:

• A valid in-state driver's license.
• An excellent driving history.
• Proof of insurance policy to verify current coverage of liability and property damage.
• Prior customer service experience in a retail setting.
