Responsibilities

As a Fuel Truck Driver, you will be responsible for:

• Delivering fuel/propane to residential and commercial accounts in a safe and efficient manner: Ensure the safe transportation of fuel and propane to our customers, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
• Maintain clean company trucks/vehicles (performing inspections and reporting all vehicle conditions that require attention): Keep our fleet of vehicles in excellent condition, performing regular inspections and reporting any issues to ensure the safety of our drivers and customers.
• Provide clients with superior customer service: Deliver exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Account for funds and inventory: Accurately manage funds and inventory, ensuring that all transactions are recorded and reported accurately.
• Keep accurate and neat records: Maintain accurate and organized records, including delivery schedules, customer information, and vehicle maintenance records.

Qualifications

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess the following qualifications:

• Must have a Class A or B CDL without restrictions: Hold a valid commercial driver's license with no restrictions.
• Have or getting HAZ MAT and tanker endorsement: Possess or be in the process of obtaining the necessary endorsements for hazardous materials and tanker transportation.
• Must have 1 year of driving experience: Have at least one year of driving experience, with a proven track record of safe and efficient driving.
• Will be drug tested and enrolled in a random testing program: Pass a pre-employment drug test and participate in our random testing program.
• Willing to work alone or with others: Be comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
• Must have reliable phone: Possess a reliable phone for communication with customers and colleagues.
• Some Weekends are required on an “On Call” basis: Be available to work weekends on an on-call basis, with extra compensation for your time.
