Position Overview

We're seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Customer Service Representative to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for receiving calls from child support client stakeholders, categorizing calls, recording abusive and extraordinary calls, and performing other duties as assigned. If you possess excellent communication skills, a patient and courteous demeanor, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive calls from child support client stakeholders, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures and contractual obligations
  • Categorize all calls received into designated categories
  • Record any abusive and/or extraordinary calls
  • Provide accurate, valid, and complete information to clients
  • Resolve customer complaints, offering suitable solutions and alternatives
  • Document customer interactions
  • Thoroughly and efficiently gather customer information, assess, and fulfill customer needs, and educate customers where applicable
  • Maintain a general understanding of policies and procedures

Essential Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • At least one-year prior experience in an area of customer service, call center, service delivery, or other related fields
  • Proficiency in data entry skills, including keyboard, mouse, and 10-key pad
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in a call center or customer service environment
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to use tact, patience, and courtesy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Requirements for Consideration:

  • Must reside in one of the following states: AL, FL, GA, MO, NC, OH, KC, TN, TX, WV
  • Must have availability from 7:30am - 6:00pm, Monday through Friday
  • Contingent on passing a background check and drug test
