What We're Looking For

We are currently looking for an experienced Motion Designer Team Lead to join our team to play an integral part in the Creative Production team. You'll not only work on briefs and creatives, but you’ll also be heavily involved in the specialists’ and processes’ development. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of artistic, performance marketing, and management expertise to take our creative production to the next level.

Key Responsibilities

• Art Direction

  • Demonstrate a keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail, ensuring high-quality motion design deliverable.

  • Enhance visual storytelling and make materials more engaging and memorable.

  • Stay updated with (and respond to) advancements in motion design as well as new technologies and techniques, and contemporary trends.

  • Ensure consistency and quality across projects by providing constructive feedback and guidance to team members.

  • Grow a design mindset across all members.

• Motion & Visual Design

  • Be the creative spark in the team. You’ll transform briefs into captivating visuals, blending technical skill with creative brilliance, work within a variety of different formats and platforms.

  • Create captivating visuals from scratch or based on existing materials, contributing to performance and marketing campaigns.

• Collaboration and Leadership

  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills, mentoring and inspiring other members of the production team.

  • Contributing to the creative production process by bringing innovative ideas and creative solutions to the table, contributing to the overall success of the team.

  • Team up with other creative minds to grasp and bring our vision and strategy to life, making sure we're all on the same page and communicating seamlessly. Build a productive and working relationship with other teams within the business to deliver better results.

  • Provide mentorship and coaching to elevate the work and support less experienced team members.

• Team and Process Management

  • Manage direct reports, overseeing their day-to-day workload.

  • Define process and workflow, emphasize planning versus reactive ways of working, anticipate talent and project needs in advance.

  • Ensure the team adheres to current processes, identifies opportunities for improvement, and proposes and creates processes and tools to support continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Experience and Expertise

  • Have 2+ proven years of experience leading a Motion Design team. A strong portfolio showcasing your motion design skills is required.

  • High level of competency with the following: Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and Figma.

  • High level of competency with Generative AI tools.

  • Understanding of various media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Google, TikTok, etc.) and their specific design requirements and formats.

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of Health&Fitness industry trends is a plus.

  • Experience with some automation tools is preferred.

• Communication and Collaboration

  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Operate autonomously, eliminating the necessity for continuous managerial guidance.

  • Fluent oral and written level of English, as this will be the main language used to collaborate and engage with the team.
