Fivetran – Connector Consultant – Oakland, CA

As a Connector Consultant you will play a crucial role working with data source partners as part of the Product Partnership team. You will be the first point of contact and will provide technical consulting to prospective customers that will drive new data connectors. Build relationships as you work closely with our customers to understand their data requirements, and communicate these requirements to engineering. Once the connector is built, onboard and support them and engineering to resolve any connector issues. Note: This is a 6 month contract to hire opportunity. As a Connector Consultant, you will:

• Build and maintain relationships with prospective data source partners
• Work with customers to understand their data needs and translate that into product recommendations
• Assist customers in onboarding with brand new products and document any issues they identify
• Provide best practices to customers throughout the onboarding process
• Communicate to product teams as connectors move through development and advise on timelines, potential roadblocks and technical issues
• Help resolve connector issues and maintain support tickets to communicate these issues
• Collaborate with Product Managers and internal teams on improvement of internal processes and feature requests

Technologies You'll Use: Google Suite, Slack Skills We're Looking For:

• 1-3 years of experience in applicable work (tech support, client solutions, product support, sales engineering)
• Business and technical acumen with a desire to learn and become an expert
• Basic understanding of SQL concepts is a plus
• Communicates effectively in online meetings, trainings and demonstrations
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Problem solving: Applies analytical thinking to identify causes and solutions to problem
