International Tax Senior - Bilingual Japanese

Accountabilities As an International Tax Senior, you will play a central role in client service, technical analysis, and tax preparation: · Prepare and review federal and multi-state tax returns for corporations (C & S), partnerships, high-net-worth individuals, bankruptcies, and trusts/estates. · Conduct research and resolve complex tax and accounting issues across multiple jurisdictions. · Identify tax planning and consulting opportunities tailored to client needs. · Build and maintain strong relationships, particularly with Japanese-speaking clients. · Partner with firm leadership to deliver high-quality, timely, and strategic tax services. The ideal candidate brings a balance of technical expertise, language fluency, and interpersonal skills: · Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Tax, or Business Administration. · Minimum of 2 years’ experience in taxation, preferably within a public accounting firm. · CPA license (or active pursuit of licensure). · Fluency in Japanese (required) and strong ability to communicate across cultures. · Solid knowledge of federal and multi-state taxation with strong analytical skills. · Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines independently. · Must have permanent U.S. work authorization (no sponsorship available).
