About the role: We are looking for a hands-on Workplace Manager in our New York office to join our Workplace Strategy & Operations team, reporting to the Head of Workplace. The Workplace team at Vercel oversees workplace, real estate, and physical security. You will play a key role in making the office coming to life by creating a welcoming and inviting environment while executing on long term Workplace initiatives. You’ll serve as the go-to point for daily needs, including access control, food service, vendor management, and events, while partnering with local and executive leaders to align space, service, and culture-building efforts. This role combines operational excellence with a people-focused approach. What you will do: Lead and oversee daily operations at the New York hub, ensuring a high standard across building maintenance, repairs, mailroom, access, and general services. Own the employee experience on site, managing space activations, food programs, vendor performance, and event support to ensure everything runs smoothly and aligns with Vercel culture. Proactively partner with cross-functional teams, including IT, Security, Legal, and Finance, to coordinate services and streamline processes. Partner with broader Workplace team to own components of and drive larger projects like future office buildouts and moves. Provide remote support to other office locations in London and Berlin. Support our global, company-wide Workplace programs by contributing to team OKRs/KPIs and driving assigned special projects (i.e. sourcing and vetting new Workplace vendors, helping launch new Workplace programs). About you: You have 3-5 years of experience in workplace operations or office management. You’re comfortable working in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects; you’re an independent worker who can operate in ambiguity and drive to outcomes with minimal oversight. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on collaboration, service, and attention to detail. Demonstrated experience managing office logistics, coordinating with vendors, and supporting events or onsite experiences. Proactive, solutions-oriented self-starter with a positive attitude and strong organizational and problem-solving skills. This salary range is an estimate. Actual salary will be based on job related skills, experience and location. Pay ranges outside New York may be adjusted based on employee location.
