Remote Overnight Content Editor

We're seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Overnight Content Editor to join our team at Workwarp. As a key member of our content team, you will be responsible for receiving, formatting, and processing client press releases for distribution to the media and other recipients. Job Summary:

The Overnight Content Editor will work closely with our clients to ensure the timely and accurate distribution of press releases. This role involves coordinating with internal stakeholders, managing multiple priorities, and providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, validate, and format client press releases to ensure compliance with content acceptability guidelines
• Disseminate press releases to the media via Canada Newswire distribution networks
• Post press releases on various platforms, including social media sites
• Coordinate international distribution of press releases with our global affiliates
• Provide exceptional customer service and advice to clients on best practices and SEO counseling
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve customer service challenges and mitigate issues

Requirements:

• High school diploma (or equivalent) plus a recognized post-secondary certificate in Journalism, Writing, Communications/PR, or a related field
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service and/or coordination, with some experience in an editing role preferred
• Basic knowledge of media communication, including earned, owned, and paid media
• Proficiency in MS Office (including Excel, Word, and Outlook) and basic knowledge of a CRM
• Strong attention to detail, customer service, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
