Part-Time Remote Benefits Specialist - $25/Hour

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Benefits Specialist to join our team at American Airlines. As a key member of our Benefits Group within the People/HR Division, you will play a crucial role in implementing and analyzing global health and wellness programs for our international employees. Job Summary

In this part-time remote role, you will be responsible for coordinating with local HR and Specialty units in our international locations to provide health and voluntary benefits. You will also oversee global consulting and employee activities supporting international benefits, assess the effectiveness of vendor services, and administer vendor compliance. Additionally, you will develop and coordinate wellness activities for our global employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with local HR and Specialty units to provide health and voluntary benefits
• Oversee global consulting and employee activities supporting international benefits
• Assess the effectiveness of vendor services and recommend opportunities for improvements
• Administer vendor compliance and ensure all service administrative requirements are managed within the policy and procedures
• Develop and coordinate wellness activities for global employees

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience/training
• Experience independently gathering and analyzing data to identify trends
• Preferred: Advanced knowledge of health benefits industry trends, regulations, and best practices
• Related experience with global benefit plans, including voluntary programs
• Skills, licenses, and certifications: Knowledge of comprehensive benefits, Microsoft Office products, and technical capabilities to extract and manipulate data
