Software Developer (Remote)

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Software Developer to join our Global IT team at Costco, one of the world's leading retailers. As a Software Developer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and implementing solutions for our global warehouse arrangement, working closely with a talented team of professionals in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

Job Summary

• Design, develop, and implement software applications for our global warehouse arrangement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Systems Architects and Product Managers, to extend the capabilities of our global warehouse arrangement
• Develop and execute unit tests to validate code changes and ensure high-quality solutions
• Participate in scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, review, and retrospectives
• Provide 24/7 on-call application support for our global station arrangement and related applications

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Master-level understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, such as jQuery and AngularJS
• Experience with Git, RESTful services, and testing frameworks like Karma, Jasmine, and NUnit
• Expertise in Web Markup, including HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders inside and outside of IT
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Azure
• Experience with Azure DevOps
• Understanding of cloud design implications and experience with Azure
