As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving financial close activities, analyzing accounting trends, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve accounting procedures.

Job Description:

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate recording of financial transactions, analyzing accounting trends, and preparing financial reports. You will also collaborate with key contacts in other departments to improve accounting procedures and drive process improvements.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring timely and accurate recording of financial transactions in accordance with GAAP and company policies
• Preparing and analyzing financial reports, including balance sheet and income statement variance analysis
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve accounting procedures and drive process improvements
• Assisting with system upgrades and automation projects to scale our accounting methods
• Preparing materials for internal and external auditors

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A degree in Accounting or equivalent
• CPA certification or CPA candidate preferred
• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in an accounting operations environment at a fast-paced, public company
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to work with large volumes of data
• Experience with process improvement and automation, with the ability to leverage technology to implement automated solutions
• Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to communicate complex accounting trends to executive audiences
